Board: Endeavor Color
Size: 152
Camber Option: Flat Camber with Raised Contacts. A flat to rocker profile.
Bindings: K2 Lien AT
Stance: 21.5 Wide 18 Negative 15 Goofy
Boots: K2 Thraxis Size 10
My Weight: 177lbs
Resort: Arapahoe Basin
Conditions: Sunny blue skies, zero wind, warmer temps, and hero snow.
Flex: This board wasn’t jib noodle soft but not a middle of the road flex either. It was really playful and forgiving. The most abundant flex was in the tips while it was stiffer under foot and then a hair softer between the bindings. The torsional flex was highly abundant.
Stability: This board got bounced around in a lot of varying terrain. It wasn’t the most stable and you could feel a lot of the chatter at speeds.
Ollies: This board has some serious spring in its step. Loading up and sending it to the moon was super easy. This board is designed for quick snappy ollies.
Pop On Jumps: Taking a small jump 15 feet past the landing seemed to be norm on this board. It had great pop and sucked up the landing really well. The one thing that did suck was how soft it was you could feel every dip in the landing.
Butterability: Come in fast, press hard, and ride it out. This board would butter all over the mountain whenever I wanted it to, but had some snap to make it fun and playful.
Jibbing: This board locked into presses and slides. It never once hung up and just wanted to play on every feature in the park.
Carving: The flex of this board severely impaired it from carving as well as other boards in the Endeavor lineup. You had to be cautious when setting this board on edge that it would wash out. The tips would overflex and buckle when pushed hard through chunder on edge as well.
Rider in Mind: Jib rider that likes a lot of snap.
Personal Thoughts: I did not like this board. It washed out too easily which was surprising because it had a lot of snap and life to it. When push came to shove though it would fold.
