Board: Endeavor Boyfriend
Size: 147
Camber Option: All Terrain Camber-to-Raised-Contacts. Camber between the bindings, reverse camber out to the contact points
Bindings: Burton Lexa EST
Stance: 21 Wide 15 Negative 15 Regular
Boots: Salomon Moxie Size 6
My Weight: 148lbs
Resort: Breckenridge
Conditions: Partly cloudy with a chance of meat balls. Groomed Trails
Flex: Mid range-stiffer flex
Stability: Whether at slow or high speeds the stability on this deck is insane.
Ollies: The pop of this board is not easily engaged, you have to work for it. After a few runs hitting some rollers, I was able to find my groove and pop a few ollies, but not without some leg strength.
Pop On Jumps: There’s a slight learning curve to hitting jumps with this board. Don’t forget leg day when you’re working out because you’ll need the extra strength.
Butterability: You’re not going to get some buttery flex without using those leg muscles a bit extra.
Jibbing: Like with butterability, this isn’t the a jib board I’d reach for with my eyes closed. The flex coupled with the stringers in the core did not have any give .and the response on rails was not exactly friendly
Carving: So. Much. Fun! After a few runs of getting used to the flex, I laid into some full trail carves at top speed. There was great hold and stability made making S turns the best part of this boards experience!
Rider in Mind: This board was definitely designed for the ladies who want to charge down the trail, through the powder, and dabble in some bumps. The technology used with the Channel and flex makes this stable and reliable at higher speeds for those that just want to break the sound barrier. A word of caution to park riders, unless you’re going big you might want to look elsewhere.
Personal Thoughts: Although I don’t usually shy away from stiffer decks, this one took a little bit of time to get used to the flex patterns and the dampening. It felt a little heavier underfoot. I really enjoyed the stability and hold of the board but wish the torsional flex had just a little bit more give.
