Board: Arbor Westmark (Rocker)

Size: 154 MW

Camber Option: System Rocker. Center reverse camber with Griptech contact points under foot.

Bindings: K2 Indy

Stance: 22.5 Wide 18 Negative 15 Goofy

Boots: K2 T1 DB Size 10

My Weight: 170lbs

Resort: Breckenridge

Conditions: Sunny blue skies, spring corn snow, and a little bit of wind.

Flex: A true middle of the road do it all park flex. Softer in the tips, stiffer under foot, just a hair softer than the flex underfoot in the middle, and a torsional flex that matches the lateral flex.

Stability: In low angle chunder this board is stable but when you get into steeper moguled out terrain you will feel everything. This board is not damp which makes you feel the vibrations that resonate up from the foot, but it is lively.

Ollies: The new tip shape of this board improves on the ollie capabilities of this deck. With a broader and flatter surface area you can boost over anything in your path. Want to spin a backside 180 over that roller? Go for it. Has that slow sign been taunting you? You best believe you can pop over it.

Pop On Jumps: With slightly improved pop this deck is no slouch for hitting kickers. Small to large they’re all your friend and you can get it all done on them.

Butterability: That tip shape really helps lend itself to buttering. You have such a wide surface area to play around on which helps with every variation of butter you can throw at it. The long and short of it is this board can butter with ease.

Jibbing: With an even bigger surface area in the tips, presses are even easier on this years. Slow to high speed jibbing this board is perfectly at home. So rip the park and slide every feature you can.

Carving: Griptech works and really helps you lock into carves, whether you’re doing short set up turns or long drawn out carves. If you want to rail a hard turn and get deep, go for it because this board can carve and turn.

Rider in Mind: Park rider that likes to leave the park and hit the whole mountain.

Personal Thoughts: I’ve owned this board for years and I can safely say this version is the best one that I’ve ridden. That new shape while weird to look at really lets you pop off features. Putting this years next to last years model you can see that this years is longer. Although the catalog claims same specs, I feel the 2016 has more effective edge and snap.
