Board: Marhar Regent

Size: 154

Camber Option: Reverse Camber. Full center reverse camber.

Bindings: K2 Lein AT

Stance: 21.5 Wide 18 Negative 15 Goofy

Boots: K2 Thraxis Size 10

My Weight: 177lbs

Resort: Arapahoe Basin

Conditions: Puking snow, high winds, low visibility, free refills all day on top of the 4 to 6 inches of snow they got.

Flex: A true all mountain freestyle middle of the road flex. A bit more play in the tips, stiffer under foot, and then softer again between the feet.

Stability: The board is stable but not damp. This means you will feel some chatter underfoot from the camber and core profiles.

Ollies: This board is designed to snap and send you to the moon. You can skate pop it or really load it up and boost. Either way you’re going to be sending it.

Pop On Jumps: Small, medium, large, or dare I even say extra large are all doable. I would keep it to the small to medium range ideally. This board has the pop to compensate for a bad lip of a jump if need be.

Butterability: High speed pow butters were fun on this board as well as just playing around in the flats. This board gets the job done with some snap to spare.

Jibbing: Presses are a breeze on this board as it locks in perfectly and gives you the snap you want out. Going sideways it doesn’t slouch either.

Carving: The Attack Arc sidecut really lets you dig in and rip some corduroy or firm snow. When not chasing pow on this stick I was ripping carves and having a blast. Short quick turns or long drawn out ones, it didn’t matter.

Rider in Mind: Someone that wants a fun playful deck that can do it all.

Personal Thoughts: This board never disappoints. It knows how to rip a turn well, snap an ollie over an obstacle with ease, and still be playful and forgiving enough to enjoy anything in front of it.
